It is essential to have a car to explore this beautiful area and to reach local amenities.

Carpe diem is located within the Regional National Park Perigord- Limousin and offers a wide range of activities for all the family.

These include Boules, Canoeing, Caving, Cycling, Fishing, Go Karting, Golf, Gourmet dining, Hiking, Horse Riding, Kayaking, Mountain Biking, Bird watching and Wildlife spotting, Photography, Sightseeing, Swimming, Tennis, Walking, Chateaux visiting, and Wine tasting at the many vineyards dotted around the region.

Or if the above seems too energetic you could simply relax by the pool reading a good book.

The house is a short drive away from Saint Saud Lacoussiere which has its own bakery, Bar (Tabac), Supermarket, pharmacy and restaurant. In the opposite direction and a short journey you can reach St Pardoux-la- Riviere with similar amenities and a larger Supermarket.
